Hand built sculpted vessels using local Cornish Stoneware Clay, utilising minerals found beneath us, foraged seaweeds and metals. The magical patterns are created from the flames and reduction of barrel and pit-firing. Each piece is named specifically to the site were the materials were found, making each piece unique.
Abstracted Oil paintings inspired by the landscape of Cornwall and the feeling it evokes. Capturing close-up perspectives, I invite the viewer to interpret their own sense of place. Selected paintings use a mix of earth pigments and Cornish ground minerals.
Original Lino-cut prints and Drypoint Etchings hand-printed using an Antique press. Each one is a first edition and not replicated in tone or colour. The Cornish landscape, moors and natural elements inspire me to create them.
